01Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this website and to the services provided by Web Emblem (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If a signed proposal or contract with you says something different, that document takes priority.

02Our services

We provide web development and related services, including WordPress development, PHP and Laravel development, headless CMS and API work, AWS cloud setup, performance and SEO optimization, ecommerce development, and website maintenance. The exact scope, deliverables and timeline for each project are set out in a written proposal or quote.

03Quotes and proposals

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work outside the agreed scope is treated as a change request and may be quoted separately before we start it.

04Payments

• Payment terms, milestones and any deposit are set out in your proposal or invoice.
• Invoices are due by the date shown on the invoice.
• We may pause work if payments are overdue, and resume once the account is up to date.
• Third-party costs (such as hosting, domains, premium plugins, themes or licenses) are paid by the client unless agreed otherwise.

05Your responsibilities

• Provide content, feedback, approvals and access (such as hosting or CMS logins) on time.
• Make sure you have the rights to any content, images, logos or materials you give us.
• Keep your own account passwords secure and review work before it goes live.

Delays in providing these items may affect the timeline.

06Ownership and intellectual property

Once all payments for a project are made, you own the final deliverables created specifically for you, such as your website design and custom code. Third-party software, plugins, themes, fonts and libraries remain under their own licenses.

We keep ownership of our general tools, methods and reusable code, and grant you a license to use them as part of your project. Unless you ask us not to, we may show the completed work in our portfolio without sharing confidential information.

07Third-party services

Projects often rely on third-party services such as hosting providers, AWS, payment gateways, plugins and APIs. We are not responsible for their availability, changes, pricing or failures, but we will help you choose reliable options and resolve issues where we can.

08Support and warranties

We deliver our work with reasonable skill and care, and fix defects in our own work that are reported within the support period stated in your proposal. We cannot guarantee specific results such as search rankings, PageSpeed scores, traffic or sales, because these depend on factors outside our control.

09Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. Please keep your own backups of your website and data.

10Confidentiality

We keep your business information, logins and non-public materials confidential and use them only to deliver our services. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement if you need one.

11Cancellation and termination

Either party may end a project with written notice. You pay for the work completed up to that date, and we hand over the completed work once it has been paid for.

12Use of this website

The content on this website is for general information only. You may not copy, reproduce or misuse our content, design or code without permission, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the website.

13Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will first be discussed in good faith, and if they cannot be resolved, they will be handled by the competent courts in India.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the “Last updated” date at the top. Changes do not affect projects already under a signed agreement.
